FAQs
I’m interested in being a patient, how do I prepare for my first appointment?
If you’re ready to set your first appointment, please fill out our online form or give us a call at 585-872-5910. We also ask that you download, print, and fill out our new patient form to help expedite your visit.
I’d like to bring my whole family to the same dentist, do you provide pediatric dentistry as well?
How often should I go to the Dentist?
On average, you should have two routine exams a year, one every six months. It is important to visit a dentist or hygienist so that they can remove tartar between your teeth, which helps prevent any additional health problems.
Is a Dental Implant right for me?
Our patients regularly ask this, and we say as long as you have sufficient bone that is strong enough to support the implant, this treatment is an option. Our team will examine your bone support and your overall dental health, and discuss the goals you want to achieve.
What is a Dental Implant?
A dental implant is a titanium post that is surgically placed into the jawbone. After a few months, the post will fuse into the jawbone. This provides a few benefits, including a secure base for the implant restoration and preventing any jawbone deterioration, which occurs when there’s no tooth in position. Once the base is healed, we can place a designed crown over the base that looks and acts like a real tooth.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, personal checks, money orders, as well as most major credit cards. We also accept CareCredit and take most major insurances, and payment is expected at the time services are rendered. Feel free to contact our office if you have any financial questions. We’ll do our best to help you get the treatment you need.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for a 24 hour notice to avoid any charges. This will also allow us to offer the appointment time to another patient who may need it. If you give insufficient notice, you may be charged if you fail to show up for an appointment.
